The "Field Recordings" series are compendiums of songs written/recorded on the spot and in great haste, hence sloppy first takes mixed with raw energy and inspiration. Roughly the songs are created at the rate of one minute per hour (i.e. a two minute song took roughly two hours from conception to final mixdown - really).
